Masha Hamilton, author of The Camel Bookmobile and the forthcoming novel 31 Hours, is writing an essay about motherhood (an important theme in the novel). Perhaps you even saw her recent post on The New York Times' Motherlode blog: http://bit.ly/ORmQB

We're looking for bloggers who are interested in posting this essay on their blog between September 7-18, along with a link to Masha's website (www.mashahamilton.com) and an image of the book cover. As a 'thank you', we would like to send each blogger a copy of 31 Hours, for their own reading/review or as a blog giveaway.

Interested? Please email rachel@unbridledbooks.com with some information about yourself and your blog as soon as possible, ideally by September 4 (this Friday). Thank you!!

Love to review books and give them away. In an earlier life, I actually designed and sold book gift baskets online, so this is a good way of staying in touch as a bibliophile. Thanks.

I love these alerts. Keep them coming. The book looks very interesting. I love the theme of mother's intuition.

I would definitely be interested--I'm always fascinated in the relationship I have with my mother & how it has changed over the years & how that compares with the knowledge and intimacy I have with my two children now. Parenting is wonderful & complicated & I look at how I know the most intimate details of my little people's lives right now (as I should--they are 10 & 4); & how one day soon they will push me away as I did my mother-- & her book certainly touches on those points. It certainly helps for me to write about it! www.giltfree.blogspot.com
