Jack Cards (www.JackCards.com) is the perfect greeting card site for busy moms or moms-to-be! You’ll never miss a birthday or anniversary again. At the heart of Jack Cards is the belief that a handwritten paper greeting card is so much more special and thoughtful than a generic mass produced and printed card. To this end, Jack Cards lets you order all of your paper greeting cards online in advance of upcoming dates for the year ahead (birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's day....).

Cards are delivered to you just before each event with a stamped addressed envelope. All you need to do is sign & send!

This is great. It'll be good to compare their products versus SendOutCards.

Looks interesting. The biggest difference I see is that Send Out Cards only prints a card when it's ordered through the catalog, you can also create your own with digital photos, in your handwriting / signature and the cards are mailed to your recipient for you with a real stamp for a little over a $1

Jack Cards looks to be similar to an e-commerce card store with the addition of an addressed envelope with a stamp sent to you to mail to your recipient starting at $2.45

I guess it's just a matter of preference.

I have a business from home, and love to send a little thank you card to new customers and to team members for their birthdays or business achievements. I'm excited to give this a try! Thanks for sharing.

I just signed up. I always forget everything! Cool thing I uploaded all my facebook friends, have all their birthdays and just sent them all a message for their addresses.

I prefer SendOutCards. It costs ALOT less, and they mail it for you direct. In addition, you have your handwriting copied and signature, so each card is fully written in your own handwriting and signature. Not to mention, when you have a urging to send someone a thinking of you card, your card can be to the person immediately, instead of waiting for the card to arrive and then have to turn around and mail it out again. They too have a reminder system. They just released a SOCbox, so it makes it affordable for anyone to be a SendOutCards user. My 2 cents from a 'thrifty' mom. Remembering and celebrating others is huge, and I think cards are important, but the less they cost, the more people I can celebrate!

Looks like a fun site to help keep busy people more organized.

The idea is great. Some of the artwork is really groovy. However... a few of the Christmas cards I saw rubbed me the wrong way. "This card is actually a birthday card for a hispanic kid named Jesus, but I guess it will do." and "Once again I bought you a present and Jesus gets nothing" (on his birthday). I don't know, but I think I would rather fork over the postage and buy a Dayspring.

I'm on the fence about this one :-)

I help so many clients overcome the guilt of throwing out greeting cards from loved ones {that clutter their living spaces} & yet, I understand the necessity of feeling thought of.

Do you think we could talk these folks into putting a disclaimer in the copyright that states

"the purpose of this card is to let you know you're loved & thought of, once that is accomplished ~ toss it in the recycle bin"

???

I don't mean to sound cranky, I just witness every year the true torment letting go of thoughtful gestures causes many of my clients. I wish there was a middle ground :-)

This is the first I have heard about a service like this. If anyone out there who have had someone flip out because you forgot a occassion (like me, see my blog post) -- this is for them (and me). Looking forward to the help. Here is my post http://itsgayle.wordpress.com/2009/11/20/it-is-in-the-mail-really
