I would love to attend, but i'm a busy mom who is working at the same time as the chat. I'll have to come back and read the script. I know I could use a wife... maybe even two.

I just can't understand how it is that we are now in the twenty-first century and wives still = housekeeper. Add to that the tremendous amount of work mothers all mothers do that has absolutely no economic value, plus the lack of credit for the management, financial planning, and other skills for those years some mothers spend out of the workplace. I am college educated, work part-time at freelance work, homeschool, manage the finances, manage the household, manage our remodeling project, and so much more...and am told by clients and others that they envy the "fee time" I have. Excuse me? If there were three of me everything would still be a struggle...yet little credit is given for miracles I pull off--and I know other mothers pull off--every day. I'm looking forward to this event and reading!

I love the name of this book. I have made this comment so many times. I work in an industry where all of the men's wives stay at home and take care of their children. They expect the same results out of me and cannot understand why I can't devote 100% of my time to my career. I have made the statement to them "if you send your wife to live with me, then I would gladly spend more time producing at work!" They aren't willing to give them up... hmmmm...

LOL I love the title of this book. All the guys at work with kids have wives at home doing things for them, but I'm working and taking care of tons of household tasks as well. Not that my husband doesn't help he just works a lot. I need a wife! Looking forward to the discussion.

Ps we need a new word besides "busy" to describe our lives. I thought I was busy before I had kids, but this is ridiculous!
