Oh the memories.....my kids are older and don't go out anymore. The youngest one may go with a group but not sure. She's 17 ! I used to dress up like a witch to greet the little ones, complete with green makeup on my face and painted spiderwebs down my neck, but I guess I have gotten lazy in my old age..
We are having a Progressive Costume Block Party. Kids show up sans costumes and after they complete a fun Halloween activity (like pumpkin seed spitting), they choose a mystery bag with a costume piece in it, repeat several times until they have their very own crazy costume.

My son will be 14 months this year for Halloween. We weren't able to do anything last year since he was so small, but we really want to take him out trick-or-treating this year. His favorite color is green and he LOVES turtles or frogs, so I really want to dress him as one or the other. I have yet to find a cute costume or get a good idea of how to made a cute little turtle shell or something, though!
I think my little one (14 months) will be a puppy dog or a bumble bee. He doesn't particularly like hats, so not sure if I can keep anything on his head. Last year I dressed him as a sweet pea because he's mama's Sweet Pea :-)
My 4 year old has let me know that she HAS to be a witch. A witch with ORANGE hair.. This is so odd for her because she is all princessy and loves cheering. when I ask her about those two, "No, Mom!! I'm gooooooing to be a witch!" goofball :D
I want Alyssa (3 months) to be a pea in a pod. I just dont want to pay a lot for a costume. Haley (6 years old) doesnt know what she wants to be it changes everyday
My 6-year-old daughter was going to wear her hip hop costume and be a dancer, but my mom found a bride costume, so now I think she's going to wear that. My 10-year-old son is going to (once again) be some sort of caped zombie. :)
My seven yr old daughter is going to be Hannah Montana. Her request came quick, her mind made up long before I even asked, I think.
My five yr old son, browsed the Costume Express catalog for days upon days, changing his mind w/ each passing. Finally he decided on a Shadow Ninja. I found both costumes on Ebay for much cheaper than that catalog...yay!
last year my boys were buzz and woody from toy story...and this year they are going as toy story 2! ;) is it just me or is halloween getting out of hand?!
