Hi Cindi,
How do we get the code to open an account. Do you have the code?

Thanks,

Hi Cindi,
Yes I did that, but no code yet, maybe they don't have it set up yet...

I followed tless and he dm'ed the code to me with in an hour or two. On the owner's personal twitter, he mentioned that he's already got 25 users and the site hasn't even been announced yet!

I've had two people drop me that I know of since I started using Twitterless. I don't know why! Sometimes I wonder if it is better to not know! LOL!

I received my code on Sunday.

I've been getting drop notices as well. I agree that it might be better to be ignorant! Oh, well, I've dropped some as well so I guess I can't take it personally.

It is always a toss up using 3rd party apps to see "who is following", because each app has to get a special access code to recieve information from twitter - twitter's API can only handle so many requests, this leaves a LOT of lag time, so the results are not in real time the majority of time. Plus twitter is always changing & moving data on their servers, so someone might not appear to be following you (but in reality their data is in transit, and will loose a certain amount, which usaully is replaced within 24-48 hours.

So use caution when relying on 3rd party sites to give you a clue about followers - more times than not they are unreliable or lagging.

That's cool, but ya I don't wanna know. I also liked it that people didn't know when I stopped following them. dang twitter apps.

I wish this didn't exist! I like that I can drop people without them knowing. Because sometimes I will follow someone just for a while.... it adds a whole new level of manners that I enjoyed not having to attend to on Twitter.

I don't think I want to know! Really I think twitter is about meeting new and interesting people, and building relationships with them. I follow people who I think have something interesting or helpful to say but I don't take offense if they choose not to follow me. I hope it goes the same way, so that someone isn't sad that I didn't follow them. When I started out with twitter I belonged to a couple of networks where we shared our twitter profiles and added each other. Now I tend to find new people via the @user-name messages of twitter friends I already have.

you can just try to keep track in your head, or use a third-party app like people have said. I've used http://dossy.org/twitter/karma/ It gives you a great overview of who is following you back, who you are following and who is following you, etc. It isn't 100% perfect but unless someone JUST dropped or followed you, I'd guess it's pretty accurate. Might make a list and then check again in a day or 2 and see if it remains static.

I like this program. When I get a drop notice, I get all huffy and yell at the person's twitter name. "Oh yeah, MrMiami007? What, you don't think I'm entertaining enough? Well let's check out YOUR tweets. WOW, you're super boring. I'm glad you stopped following me, chucklehead!"

I obviously need to get a life.
