Currently I am following 226 and have 191 followers. Many of the people I follow I know from digi scrap & parenting forums & generally they don't tweet much so it seems to be a good balance for now.
I just started on twitter. I'm following 134 and 112 are following me.
I don't think it matters much the #'s for me. It's all new to me right now so i love it and am having fun with it
I have about 250 followers, and follow about 300. That sounds like a lot, I know, but many of them don't tweet often. So it's really more like 60 to 100 regulars with an occassional tweet from others.
I have 227 followers and I am following 271. The numbers are definitely meaningful to me even if people don't tweet often or follow back. I am tweeting for both personal reasons and professional. I find that I reach different folks during different times of the day. Some of my "tweeple" I tweet back and forth with, while others I simply find interesting to "listen" to. I have learned about the blogosphere, politics, and the like through the people I follow, and I wouldn't have known about those things without the variety of "tweeple" I follow. I also think that my tweets meet the needs of other people, and they promote my blog and my business. (It is also kind of fun to see if I can increase my followers!)
I just started a few weeks ago. I find that I like the people that are funny. I unfollowed a ton of folks because they were all about their expertise and driving to their "expert sites" I go for humor and diversion during the day. Not to be sold something:-)
