Favorite Kitchen Gadget?

I like to think of Twitter Moms as a giant cocktail party, with loads of interesting people to meet. However, as an introvert, cocktail parties make me nervous, so when I attend a blogger related function, I make myself move around the room by asking people I meet a simple question:
What is your favorite kitchen gadget?

Oh, what a good question. I love gadgets. I think my favorite, if it counts as a gadget, is my Keurig coffee maker. It uses little plastic cups and brews one cup of coffee at a time. I just love it because I drink coffee all day and occasionally like a cup at night. This way, I don't have to brew a whole pot. They also have delicious tea pods. I can also use it for hot water for a cup of cocoa or cup o noodles.
I (stupidly) bought the Pancake Puffs pan as seen on Tv. What a waste of $20 that was. It took forever and the puffs are so small you could only fill them with about a teaspoon of filling!

I'd have to go with two. One is the item I use the most, which is my stock pot. I make everything in that pot -- pasta, soups, applesauce, jams, and so on. I actually have three sizes: large, extra large and "OMG, how much applesauce can one person make!"
And my favorite gadget just for its sheer old fashioned-ness is my Foley food mill. It's so shiny and full of hand-cranked goodness. I feel like a pioneer woman when I turn that wheel.

My KitchenAid Mixer. I have the red 5 quart, lift bowl and I've named it Sir Mix A Lot. Did you know that Kitchen Aid has a their own YouTube Channel? Great question! I've loved reading all the responses.

Hmmm... I would have to say my crockpot.
I am currently coveting a stand mixer as my 30 year old baby died.
