Starting a Home Based/Online business
I'm going to start a home based business. I've got most of the basic stuff down, but I'm in serious need of advice! I'm going to start a blog for the business, to get the name out there. Now I'm curious. Is anyone willing to share some tips of the trade, advice, etc? Who do you go through for payment? Is Etsy a good way to go for advertisement and more sales, even though they charge??

My best advice is to set business hours to work your business. Treat it as a business and not a hobby. Make sure during these economic times that your business has a need in everyday life or provides a necessity service. Sets daily goals and think outside of the box. Next, Google is the #1 Site on the Internet, if you have a google account make sure that you register your business on Google's Local Business Center for better results. If you don't have a free Google GMail account get one. I hope these few suggestions help you. Google has a new feature called Google Check Out for easy and secured shopping experience for your customers.
