How to best utilize Twitter

Share how you best utilize Twitter. I have the mommbar tool bar and it has a great little Twitter button which makes it quick and easy!

I tried to check mommybar but my virus scanner detected something and blocked it.

I'm using it to find others who share my passion for digital learning, home school, activism, Girl Scouts, and travel. I also use it to link to interesting articles, photos, video that I think are relevant to these interests, usually anyway.

Of course, it's just one more way to connect with the community that inspires, and sometimes even reads, my On Living By Learning blog.

I honestly don't know what I did without it.

I agree with all on here that Twitter can get really distracting. I think it's best to share information that pertains to your followers, but remember to be a bit human, too. :); ▶ Reply to This

The cool thing about TwitterMoms (TM) is having so many intelligent, interesting and fun mommies to talk to...I feel like I learn something new every single time I log onto TM. There are so many interesting subjects. I think it's the quest for knowledge and actually finding useful information that keeps me coming back several times a day......
