I'd love your comments and suggestions for props, posters, all things on the up & up. I don't want him to be the one who got votes because he showered everyone with candy. KWIM?

Wow good luck. What about handing out pencils that say "Vote For ____" or some catchy slogan. Kids are always needing pencils. I think you will have to hand out something (I agree with foregoing the candy, especially because some Mom's don't want their kids to have any).
As far as speech, what about poster board showing stats or something. Props are always good because it catches people's eye and it helps with nervousness.
