Wonder why some states offer it and others don't? I would think NY would be one state that does! Especially in heavy populated areas!

I am however here in Washington we already got our ballots in the mail. and I think 90% of people here do it by mail. I am not even sure where one would go to vote in person. They have drop boxes at various locations and you can drop off until Voting day. To me its easier I hate the lines and the wait with two little ones.

Oh I would love just doing it via mail! That is simple! As long as no monkey business could be done (fake votes being mailed in). It is so tough to keep the voting element honest and accurate it seems!

I think the deadline here has passed to ask for an early ballot. I'd never do though. It's a mail in ballot & I suck at getting things in the mail in a timely manner.

Very true, The sad thing is, they said on the news the other day that over 1000 ballots got sent to inmates. who aren't suppose to be voting. so who knows whats going to happen with that one. :(

I hope everyone in Nevada votes early!
I am soooooooo sick of the phone ringing just to hear a recording from someone running for an office.
We have also had them at our door asking if we are voting & then want to tell you who to vote for. Poor guys have had to debate the FDA with me. They have no clue what I am talking about - they are schooled it key topics & I just start pulling my Ron Paul stuff up. They end up leaving. LOL!

I'm voting early not only to avoid long lines but to volunteer on election day. Do you know that you can drive people to the polls, take calls from people who have trouble voting, take calls from people who need a ride to vote or just have questions about voting?

No matter what party you're with, why not vote early so you can help everyone vote! Just call your local Dem or Rep office and ask if they need help.

I personally don't 100% trust early voting, so I am waiting until the 4th. However, I did take my grandpa in for early voting today and there were several people there.

I received my ballot in the mail last week, I will probably mail it in a few days. Been voting this way for years. I dont like long lines either.
