I don't know why I want to know, I was just buttering Toast this afternoon thinking, humm what kinds of butter do Women buy for their family. Our choice (actually it's not butter but Margerine) is Becel Olive Oil Margerine.

I buy whatever is on sale. I am not picky at all about butter. Salted or unsalted, I don't care. :) I'm not a baker either so it really makes no difference.

One thing I do though is I always leave the butter out on the counter. I hate it when someone puts it in the fridge and when I want to butter my toast. Argh!!

I use Real Butter because I found out that the body digests it easier and I have a ton of tummy issues so the dr said to try it to see if that helps since it don't have the added stuff and it worked so now its all I buy for the family.

Im with you Barbara I hate it when its been in the fridge, I got a butter tray to keep the sticks in there covered on the counter it. One thing I like about up here is it dont get to hot. Last summer we lived in Cali and it kept melting it wasn't fun here it just stayed soft :)

We buy butter from the local Mennonite market. It's locally made & it comes in huge 2.5lb bricks, which make it a bit of pain to measure out because you have to weigh it rather than having those nice handy 'one tablespoon' marks like on sticks of butter.
But we think it tastes better & it's actually a bit cheaper in bulk than the sticks

It may just be psychological, but I LOVE the european style butter my husband buys from time to time -- especially when it's at room temperature. Sinful!

Only real butter for us, we don't have a specific brand and if I can get it on sale I pick up as many as I can. We prefer it room temperature or spreadable. I often mix it with an equal amount of grapeseed oil to make a heart friendly spreadable butter.

I used to buy Country Crock with Calcium and Vitamins, but now I buy the new Country Corck with Omega-3. I know we don't eat right most of the time, so I buy as much as I can that's fortified with extra nutrients! Thankfully, it has a really good, creamy taste... it doesn't taste icky and fake.

I use Blue Bonnet margarine.

Real butter, preferably Crystal Farms. I buy 8-10 lbs at a time when it's on sale and freeze it until I need it.

Hubby grew up on a dairy farm so there was really no other choice when we got married. ;-)

Organic raw butter is our favorite. In a bind or for baking, we just use organic butter.
