I don't mind it, but i find that i rarely use the web to tweet. I use something called Digsby (it links your email, msn/aol,twitter,facebook) So that everytime you get a new tweet it shows up in the bottom left of your screen, same thing for email or facebook message, very handy :)

I thought it looked good. A little facelift. I have not seen much change as far as functionality.

Guessing they will be adding ads below the what are you doing box? Just a guess. I usually use Twhirl anyway, so it doesn't bother me.

i think a better spot for ads would be right under device updates. i wouldn't mid the ads, most sites have them and by now i overlook them anyway.

i think the design is not so different that it makes a huge difference. it does put more emphasis on the whole followers/following thing.

it would be great, if @replies was reliable and you didn't have to constantly look at search.twitter to see if any went missing. and unfortunately, you have to use the combination of both to get the full replies. i miss summize. and yes, i know search.twitter is summize, but since the day before they announced the acquisition of it, it has not been working the same.

have any of you noticed or had the feeling, that you are not seeing tweets from all of the people you follow? i always had this suspicion, because sometimes i won't see tweets form a person for days, but yesterday i was sure of it, since my sweetheart's tweets were not showing up in my stream. *sigh*

ok, i am done complaining ;-)

Fresh eyes this morning, the new twitter look is not so bad. I do miss having the search button on the main page, though...

I'm still new to twitter, so I hadn't grown as used to the main page as many of you. But I like the new one. It seems cleaner to me.

since im still new to twitter, it hasnt really affected me - i still dont follow the whole twitter aspect yet, but i hope to nab it soon!

Only critique: "Search People" needs to first be search tab rather than e-mail tab... too many clicks to search for peeps on Twitter already. This is *vital* esp. when new.

Happy to see archive now goes back 50 pages instead of 10 we've had to deal w/for last 6 months. Long to be able to search my *entire* archive @ Twitter Search. Twitter will be more powerful when *search* is integrated.

Also, really like *Favorites* highlighted: early days of Twitter, more & more would "gold star fave" another person's favorite tweets. Good way to find new folks and/or decide if want to follow.

I primarily use Twhirl, but I don't mind the new layout.

On the otherhand, Facebook's new layout is taking lots of time for me to get used to...

Sweet! 50 pages of back-tweets? I read the Twitter update blog and it didn't mention that :(

now it matches my gerbers in the background lol ?!?
I'm a newbie at twitter so I don't mind the change......
I think I need to get one of these twitter gadgets people are always talking about...any fav's ?
