Men following you on twitter, how do you feel about it?

Hi ladies,

I wanted to throw this question out there because I have had a handful of men start to follow me and I am not sure how I feel about this! Sure a couple are cute BUT it is kind of creepy! I am not talking about Guy Kawasaki following me - that is cool - but the guy in Madrid I am not too sure about! I have started to block the suspicious ones -- wondering what you savvy ladies think!?

They may or may not be reading what I *choose* to post to twitter. The majority of people whom I follow and who follow me are men. The topics that interest me most tend to be discussed mostly by men on twitter. I don't tweet anything I wouldn't want on the front page of the newspaper, and I wouldn't even if my followers were exclusively women. Women can gossip like nobody's business, and on the internet, you can't be sure a person is a woman just because they say they are. I have real life friends who are men too. My husband has real life friends who are women. We have this deal that we only do sex with each other. We are secure enough to trust ourselves and each other to honor that agreement. This is the 21st century. I sure as hell would hate to be restricted to women only cloistered societies where non husband/family men were totally excluded from our lives, like in Afghanistan. And if a guy started tweeting creepy stuff I would just stop following him. Usually I stop following people because they are boring.; ▶ Reply to This

I don't have any clue how he found me, but I felt honored and maybe following him will allow for great tid bits on lifting for me. I don't follow random men back, ya know.
