Who is a "must follow" on twitter?

  • Rating: 0 after 1 vote
People are on twitter for many reasons. And some people you follow for business/blog/social media reasons, some for fun. Who do you find the most interesting to follow and for what reason...? Maybe you can find a new fave or two!

Oh man, I think there are some awesome ones:

@typeamom who is funny and honest
@fakesarahpalin (sorry, but it's funny no matter what side you're on)
@pistachio who is as real as ever
@elisac who the always present BlogHer maven
@herbadmother who I just love for being her and don't even know

I just tweeted something like this today. Here are 3 people I think are under-followed considering how entertaining they are:

@TravelSavvyKayt (freelance travel writer, mom of toddler, my partner, but I swear I'm impartial in this)
@CrazyCanuckblog (grows prizewinning pumpkins, makes all manner of hilarious observations)
@chelleyarbrough (wacky!)

Plus a few that aren't exactly up-and-coming:

@sundry
@mom101
@amalah

Please follow me too: @TravelSavvyMom. I twitter about travel, parenting, and humor. For example, I once found a freshly laundered hummingbird in my washing machine (cat had killed it and hidden it in the laundry basket). Recently my 8-year-old put a sign on her bedroom door that said, "Your Feedback Is Important To Us!" That kind of thing...

http://twitter.com/hotdogsladies is Merlin Mann...you'll recognize his face. A ton of people follow him.

I follow

@jasonbarton33
@NatalieGrant

because they're down-to-earth performers with real families and real lives.

I also follow our Worship Paster

@matthewaynelson because he's pretty funny, and
@pancakemama, a diner waitress in Nashville because she's hilarious!

If you own a business, I would say @indiebusiness - she is very inspirational and uplifting. Love her blogs and utterli's. Also if you are looking for all things Wal-Mart and reading reviews @JessicaKnows seems to know what she is talking about.

And her Dooce's blog is fantastic also!

I follow Dooce, but she only sends out a tweet about once a week. They are always good for a laugh, but not a whole lot to follow, you know?

Apparently I have been naughty because I can't follow @SantaClaus25... wonder what's up with that. Twitter keeps telling me to refresh my page.
