I prefer whites ~ pinot grigio mainly ~ but I have begun to venture into the reds. I think it makes a dramatic difference what sort of food you are eating while drinking the wine. Recently my husband & I had a fantastic dinner out. I had a steak au poivre with a delicious red wine - I couldn't tell you the name now but it was recommended by the waiter and I was not disappointed!

I am mostly a white (my grandfather says because I am still young) but there are some reds I like. Beaujolais, Syrah or Petite Syrah...

Depends. With dinner or to sit back and relax I like a nice glass of red. I like full bodied wines, but I hate it when they are too oakey and leave that funny taste/feeling on my tongue. At parties or happy hour, I'll often go for a riesling or a pinot grigio -- I tend to dislike chardonnay (that darn oak), but I've tried a few through a local wine tasting of late that were fantastic. I'll have to track down there names...

I'm both! Adore Sauvignon Blanc and Mal Bec; Anything from Australia, New Zealand, and Oregon.

My fave is chardonnay, I feel alone. I also like merlot, but I have to be in the mood and usually with some kind of pasta dish.

I am a white drinker. Chardonnay is my favorite right now. I have tried several reds but have not had any luck finding one I like. Glenn Ellen is my favorite brand. I do not experiement too much because I do not like wasting money. I first started out with Relax Resling because my sister bought me a bottle... but now resling is too sweet and I like the chardonnays best.

I love it all! We have an extensive wine collection, with wines from all over the world, however Cali Pinot Noir one of my favorites-David Bruce Pinot Nior. Also, love champange and Italian sparkling!! I only like sweet white wine like a dessert wine, it is the perfect ending to a great meal.

Where and How do you make wine?? We went to a winery in Italy (a small family owned) and each child and grandchild had their own cellar with wine made on their birthdays with a picture of them as a label. Some of the wines in the cellar was over 30 years old. It was such an interesting idea.

Don't get me started on Zin! My husband started making wine in 2004, partially to celebrate Oscar's birthday. It was a Zin, and it was AWESOME. We still make wine, but are running out of the Zin and have shifted to Cabs and Marsanne blends....

My favorite red wine is Pinot Noir, but that is getting so pricey these days! I recently tried a "L'Ecole No. 1 Recess Red" blend, which was really yummy and about half the price of a bottle of Pinot Noir.

I love a crisp white wine during a sunny afternoon while eating lunch outside....Conundrum makes a really wonderful chardonnay.

I am a red girl myself ;-) I love sweet, not dry, red wines.

I am red, almost exclusively. I do enjoy Sauvignon Blanc when it's really hot out, but otherwise I stick to Pinot Noir or a good northern Italian.

Prefer red - but will drink white. And you?
