Where is the best place to shop for kids clothing?

  • Rating: No Rating
I was out shopping today, and got a cute cute cute halloween outfit for my DS. But i was looking at all the other clothes and thought as if i'm spending 44$ on a sweater he'll wear maybe a couple of times...

I get all my kids clothing at gymboree, Because it seems that nothing stains, nothing stretches out of shape, their clothes are just good quality and for me its worth spending a little more, With that said I never buy anything full price except jeans other then that everything is off the clearance rack So I end up paying the same price as walmart or something similar. And when I do have to buy jeans I get them at Gymbuck time which also reduces the regular shopping expense.

I love Clothes by Childrens Place.

I love Old Navy they have stuff that is really cute and the price is fairly reasonable and if you check out their clearance section in the stores you can usually get stuff really cheap that is out of season for next year... I hardly ever pay full price for clothes for any of us so Old Navy is great for everyone...

I believe they have Halloween costumes too :)

When my kids were small like Dominic is, I would buy at Old Navy. They wash well, fit nice, have cute items, and are reasonably priced. I also really liked Target. They grow out of thing too quickly to spend a lot of money on things. Holiday T's and such are great priced at Target. I don't know if Target is in Canada, but you can shop online. =)

I adore Childrens Place! That is where I get most of my daughters stuff, and I generally buy it on sale. (They can have some great sales!) I also get things at Old Navy and Target.

If you like truly unique fair trade clothing that is well made and not something that you see in every store try Hippos Toes! The clothing is made in South Africa by underpriveleged mom's that have limited income opportunities. These mom's are typically the only source of support for their families. I will be launching Hippos Toes on October 9th. The clothing changes every season and typically has a nature theme. I will be offering a grand opening sale on my blog as well, so please be sure to check it out on the 9th!

When my kids were litte, Children' s place was always great. But being one who loves a good deal, I found that the sale racks at Gap, Macy's and JC Penney's always had amazing bargains. Who doesn't love a $50 item you can purchase for $15? Marshall's is great for that, too.

most of their clothes are from Old Navy (love the baby sale!) because i love the prices and they really do have the cutest selection. then there's target and stores like Kohl's and Belk's. If I go to Tulsa, I stop by Gap and Children's Place. I really love their stuff (especially the jeans at Gap) but ON & Target are within a 5 minute drive and much more convenient.

I second the Old Navy votes. I also LOVE Carters for my 3yo girl. They have such good quality clothing at great prices. I also like that their toddler clothes are toddler styles- not clothes for big kids (or adults) made in smaller sizes. (Short skirts, halters, you know what I mean.) I think my daughter should dress like she is 3- because she is!

I am going to be very sad in a few sizes when Carters doesn't fit her anymore.

honestly? And I'm sure this isn't going to be a super popular place to shop - but I always check Goodwill and garage sales first before buying new. Not only for green purposes and my own savings but you wouldn't believe the nice clothing you can find for a $ or two. I buy new sneaks and underwear, but I don't think I've had to buy 'new' jeans for my kids in years. And they look like they're wearing nice, new clothing too. ;)
