Share the Love - Let's Friend Each Other on StumbleUpon

I was reading that a great way to grow a young blog is to build a network of friends on stumbleupon and then give thumbs up for each other's blog posts. I thought that would be really cool to do with you guys. If you aren't using stumbleupon.com, you just have to go and download the toolbar. Then you can add friends with their user name or email address. To ask your friends to give you a thumbs up, navigate to the page you want to send to another user, click ‘Send to’ on the toolbar and select the target user from the drop-down menu. You can send a message to accompany the page. Generally you should ask for the specific action you want (stumble, or occasionally a review), and most importantly, offer to help out the other person in return. Hopefully, if your friends stumble you, then others will see your page and they will like it to. You know you're doing something write when non-friends stumble you too. Want to try? First you friend people. Then when you post on your blog, go to that page, click on Send to in the stumbleupon toolbar. Click on the friend you want to send the page to. You can add a message. Ask them to stumble it for you. If you get enough people to stumble it, it is gets "moved up" so others see it, read it, and hopefully stumble it too. IYou can stumble people's non-blog websites too, but only once. I've already stumbled mommybags.com. Her bags are really cool.
To answer your other question, you can stumble any page you want, not just your friend's pages. It's all about the love!; ▶ Reply to This
