I agree Shreejana, there are too many to pick just one. The ones I still rock out to are Queen, Journey, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi.... oh gracious... let's just say I haven't left the 80s yet!

Depeche Mode, hands down. They were my favourite band in the '80's and are my favourite band right now, all the rest bring back memories but DM are still making the soundtrack to the memories I'm making right now.

I see that there are many "Duranies" in here. They have always been an awesome band. I was thrilled when the original members reunited in recent years. My favorite has always been and will always be Roger Taylor!

I was a hair band metal rocker chic back then. My fav's tho were Poison, and well I grudgingly admit this I loved Air Supply. I still love both of these bands and listen to them when I am in the mood.

Talking Heads, XTC, English Beat, INXS, The Elvis Brothers.....and The Go-Go's! (especially because a bunch of us in college dressed up as them and lip synced "Our Lips Our Sealed" with curling irons for microphones!) - did I just type that out loud? :D

70's, 80's and now - AEROSMITH! My 22 year old and 7 year old love them too, because I guess they heard so much of them from me.

There are just too many to choose from! INXS, XTC, The Talking Heads, U2, many punk bands, new wave stuff... I just love the 80's, period.
