Away We Go Contest: Tell Us What Home Means To You and Get Prizes!

How It Works:
Away We Go Movie

To participate, simply write a post on your own blog telling us what your definition of what “home” means to you! Feel free to upload photos, videos, etc. of your meaning of what makes a home a special place. The only requirements we ask are that your post includes at least one link back to this page so your readers can enter the contest too and that you tweet about the contest using the hashtag #awaywegomom. Then return to this discussion page, post a comment below summarizing your blog post, and include an active link to your qualifying blog entry. That’s it! Contest officially ends June 26, 2009.

Prizes:
• The first 40 bloggers to enter the contest will win an “Away We Go” prize. Possible prizes include: Two Fandango Gift Certificates for Away We Go, an Away We Go Movie Soundtrack or an Away We Go T-shirt.

About the Movie:
A heartfelt comedy directed by Sam Mendes and written by Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida, Away We Go follows one couple's quest to find a place they can call home. As they travel around the U.S. in order to find a perfect place to start their family, they encounter misadventures and fresh connections with an assortment of relatives and old friends who help them discover "home" on their own terms. In select theatres June 5th, opens nationwide June 26th!

And I like to have a beautiful yard with lots of flowers, like my grandmother had in Minnesota. My home is my resting place where I relax way the world stresses. And think about others. My home is where I have lots of friends come over, and many homeless come for a overnight stay to clean up, and get a new pair of clothes. My home involves animals of every creature great and small.
