Away We Go Contest: Tell Us What Home Means To You and Get Prizes!

How It Works:
To participate, simply write a post on your own blog telling us what your definition of what “home” means to you! Feel free to upload photos, videos, etc. of your meaning of what makes a home a special place. The only requirements we ask are that your post includes at least one link back to this page so your readers can enter the contest too and that you tweet about the contest using the hashtag #awaywegomom. Then return to this discussion page, post a comment below summarizing your blog post, and include an active link to your qualifying blog entry. That’s it! Contest officially ends June 26, 2009.
Prizes:
• The first 40 bloggers to enter the contest will win an “Away We Go” prize. Possible prizes include: Two Fandango Gift Certificates for Away We Go, an Away We Go Movie Soundtrack or an Away We Go T-shirt.

About the Movie:
A heartfelt comedy directed by Sam Mendes and written by Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida, Away We Go follows one couple's quest to find a place they can call home. As they travel around the U.S. in order to find a perfect place to start their family, they encounter misadventures and fresh connections with an assortment of relatives and old friends who help them discover "home" on their own terms. In select theatres June 5th, opens nationwide June 26th!

I am sure I am probably way past the 40 people, but I am so very proud, I want to share anyways. I hope you all take the time to view it as there are 2 pictures I have included, that just melt my heart every time I see them.

My idea of a home is the door is always open,no matter what our children are doing or what crisis they are facing.We love the fact that our children-grown still love moms homecooked meals and say no one does it better-not to brag but a home is surrounded with childhood memories,the smells,the feel,hugs and sorrow too.It is a safe haven for all that life itself bestowes

HOME -
A house, apartment, or other shelter that is the usual residence of a person, family, or household.
The place in which one's domestic affections are centered.
The word HOME, to me means a place I am most comfortable with. I have my childhood home, which is where I return to when I wish to summon up happy memories - the problem is that I've lived in several.In which case it would depend on which memories I would like to remember.
As a child, HOME was where I returned to and found my Mum, Dad & Sister.People who loved and supported me, whatever I did.
Nowadays HOME to me is where my son,daughter and husband dwell. They are the centre of my affections and I feel happy to be there, so long as they are there.
So to sum it up.It's people in my case that make somewhere a HOME.
