twitter moms: the influential moms network

Is anyone on here a teacher? Private, public, home-school? OR SUNDAY school teachers?
I have been teaching for a number of years, and would ask all teachers, or parents to give some great tips, ideas, or crafts. I have a website where I post all sorts of deals, tips, coupons, crafts, and bulletin board ideas. If you have any send them to me! Also check out the site to find tips and deals for yourself.

I have been a preschool/daycare teacher for almost 10 years and now a SAHM. I have also done a lot of Sunday School teaching. I would love to send you information you'd like if there is anything in particular.

Thanks Cara, I taught pre-K for a while as well. I have many readers that are early childhood and elementary teachers, so I am always looking for tips and ideas that work well in the classroom, and that save money!
Thanks for writing!

I am also a homeschool mom. I am always on the lookout for websites that will help my kids with their studies.

Right now my older kids are using http://www.wikipedia.org/ for research.

Thanks Crystal for those links. I will go and check them out!

Do you have any good websites for 7/8th graders?

Dani,
were you looking for fun-type sites, or strictly educational websites?
I have many that are fun/trivia/educational sites, these I have not published on my site but will in the future.
Here are some:

http://www.janebluestein.com/fun/ponderables.html ---Things to ponder

http://www.makebeliefscomix.com/ ---Make your own comic strips

http://keybr.com/ ---Work on keyboarding skills

I hope you and your children like some of these sites!

I am looking for both fun and educational. My kids are getting older, so I am looking for safe but fun things they can do online.

I am a homeschooling Mom of 2 boys, aged 7 and 10. I just started a homeschooling site which can be found at homeschoolersparadise.ning.com
It is a little like a blog but lots of information is added and comments are always welcome :)

I am a former teacher too, although every second month I teach sunday school! I will check out your site for sure.

Like many of you I blog about early education on www.notimeforflashcards.com it has helped fill the void that I felt after deciding to stay home!

Thanks for sharing your site with us, Allie! I plan on staying home when we start a family (I am not actually a Mom, even though this site is for moms!) and that is why I wanted a blog that I could continue to do when I stop teaching.
I am glad to find so many teachers on here!
