CBS Reporter Request: Cover of TIME Magazine - Topic is Overparenting

FROM KELLY WALLACE CBS REPORTER:

You have always been so helpful in our CBS News pursuits so I thought I'd try you again. We're trying to do a story today which would air tomorrow (Friday) on "The End of Overparenting." Time Magazine, in its issue expected to be released tomorrow, will feature a cover story which focuses on overparenting and claims there's a backlash underway -- a new revolution to try and restore balance to family life through methods of slower parenting -- let kids be kids, don't hover as much, give them the freedom to just "be." What do you think? Are you a "helicopter parent" or do you believe the time has come for an end to overparenting? I'd love to talk to you. Since I'm under a tight deadline, I'm mainly looking for moms in cities where we have CBS News bureaus -- NY (and surrounding areas), Washington, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami. Please let me know your thoughts, whether you've written about this topic, where you are located and whether you might be available this afternoon. Please email me, wallacek@cbsnews.com, and my producer, Joe Long, jdl@cbsnews.com.

Thanks again for your help.

All my best,
Kelly

Overparenting? No, parents just have the ability to multi task while still giving their kids the time to just be. Balance between family and kids is so essential, with time this becomes a perfected art. I believe we already do use slower methods is called let your kids transform. We teach them, play, and love them the rest is in God's hands.
