Cinco de Mayo is almost here and in celebration of moms and margaritas Jose Cuervo and TwitterMoms have come up with a fun way to get the party started! Do you have a fantastic Margarita recipe or tips on how to make the best Margarita? Jose Cuervo is looking for the best margarita recipes in time for the TwitterMoms “Cinco de Mama!” Margarita Twitter Party (#cuervo) on May 5, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. PST. You could win a $50 gift card to Chili's restaurant - which can be used at any Chili's restaurant or bar that accepts credit cards.
Here’s How It Works:
To participate, simply write a post on your own blog sharing your favorite Margarita recipe. The only requirement we ask is that your post includes at least one link to the TwitterMoms “Cinco de Mama!” Margarita Twitter Party so all your readers can join in the fun! Jose Cuervo will donate $1 to RADD (formerly known as Recording Artists, Actors and Athletes Against Drunk Driving) for every RT that day. Up to 2,500 RT!! Then return to this discussion page, post a comment below with an active link to your qualifying blog entry. That’s it! Deadline to enter is Friday, May 1st midnight EST.
Prizes:
• Be one of the first 30 bloggers to enter your favorite margarita recipe, or in this case, “mamarita” recipe, follow the entry requirements and you will win a Chili’s gift card worth $50.
• The one grand prize winner with the best margarita recipe will win a $250 Chili’s gift card!

I missed the deadline for this...but it's okay. I love a great Marg and was planning on posting my favorite recipe on the 5th. I was a Manager for Chili's for 4 years and could quote all their margs, lol. I was a Manager/GM for Chi Chi's for the 10 years before that and they had the BEST margs. Good luck to the contestants!
