Christmas tree: when do you get your? when is too ealry?

I usually use the day after Thanksgiving as my benchmark. I don't like "holiday crossover." And there is that day after that is usually free of other commitments, so it seems like the perfect day. I've put it up later, but I don't think I've ever put it up any earlier!

In Germany normally they put up the christmas tree only on christmas eve.
In Holland we do it a week before.
I think it is a shame and stressful to put it up that late so i do it in the week before.

But now.,.... I guess is a little tooooo early but then... you should be able to decide this yourself LOL

We put ours up the Sunday after Thanksgiving due to being out of town. I did notice last night when I was driving around that several people already had theirs up. Crazy! I think anytime before Thanksgiving is too early.

Never too early for a Christmas tree. Personally, the day after Thanksgiving is great since no one in their right mind would shop that day, lol.

I put mine up today. Time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is too busy and stressful around here, so I just go ahead and put it up the weekend before Thanksgiving. Plus, I love to look at it at night when I'm in the living room all by myself.

i can't wait until Friday for our tree, honestly I'm looking more forward to getting the tree then Thanksgiving itself. I just love having it! I grew up having it up the very last minute, cause we had to wait until they were next to nothing to be able to afford one. Last year i coordinated a non-profits adopt-a-family program and moved early December, so i did not have a tree or a Christmas, and I was 7 months pregnant.. so this year I want to go all out. Its my daughter's 1st- soooooo excited!

We didn't end up getting in on friday, it just wasn't going to happen. But we did get it on Sunday, in the house, up and decorated! Then last night we got the lights up outside! and my house decor is up, crazy!!! we've never done this!
