Classic Chick Flicks?

Alrighty, twitterMoms ... my girlfriends & I have started a "ladies nite PJ party" movie club. You know, instead of a book club - we get together & watch chick flicks (grin).

So, I'm asking everyone to weigh in on their faves so we can build up our list for the spring & summer. We've already watched Mama Mia & Calendar Girls.

A little about this group ... we're all moms, we're all over 35, we're all in different fields of work (health care, dental, home school, entrepreneur, teacher) and we all have a great sense of humor.

I turn my master bedroom into a dorm for a night & give the kids the run of the house while we cuddle up on my bed, over stuffed chairs & the like. With munchies we wish we had back in college & jammies that love ya even though you've had kids!

Not so much a chick flick - not sure what that is really LOL but my favorite movie EVER is "Pay It Forward".

Slow at first, but the chemistry between the characters is electrifying! Outsourced is not necessarily a chick flick, but is a very light funny quirky movie.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Anna M. on February 20, 2009 at 4:30pm: I cast my vote for Pride & Prejudice as well, and would add the Bridget Jones movies (which are entertaining, but not as good as the books), Love Actually, (I seem to have a Colin Firth theme going on here) any of the old Doris Day movies, Down With Love is also fun.
