Kick off the holiday season by gathering with your loved ones and celebrating the most cherished blessings in your life. As this truly American holiday approaches, our friends at Target thought it would be fun to get TwitterMoms thinking about…
"What three favorite family Thanksgiving traditions have you passed or will pass on to your children?"
Do you love making your grandma's sweet potato pie? Do all the boys sit around the TV watching football, while the women catch up in the kitchen finishing up the green bean casserole? Do you have a secret recipe for the juiciest turkey which you are teaching your children to make? Does everyone get up early to watch the Thanksgiving Day parade on TV together while you sip hot chocolate? Hopefully this will inspire you to sit down with your children and share your favorite Thanksgiving stories and pass your traditions onto them! Your blog post could win you a $50 Target Gift Card!
How It Works
To participate, write a post on your own personal blog sharing: "What three favorite family Thanksgiving traditions have you passed or will pass on to your children?" To enter the Sweepstakes, we ask that you:
1. Post your answer to the question on your blog. Make sure that you include at least three Thanksgiving traditions you have passed or will pass on to your children
2. Include at least one link back to this discussion page in your post, so your readers can learn more about what prompted your post
3. Include the Target badge and at least one link back to http://www.target.com in your post. The code for the badge is available here to copy-paste into your blog entry.
4. Log on to your Twitter account, www.twitter.com, and tweet about the Sweepstakes using the hashtag #TargetThanksgiving
5. Return to www.twitterMoms.com and post a comment to this discussion below referencing your blog post and including both an active link to your qualifying blog entry and a link to your Twitter Sweepstakes Tweet

Have fun and get creative! Describe your favorite Thanksgiving memories and traditions that you have passed or will pass on to your children. The Sweepstakes officially ends November 20, 2009 at midnight PST. The winners will be contacted on or about December 1, 2009.
