Do you make your own or buy your Valentine's Day Cards?

I've only done V-day cards one other time but this year I thought my girls would enjoy doing some. So I hit Michael's and found some foam sticker hearts, wiggle eyes, ribbon, and card stock. They actually look pretty cute but it is a little time consuming making them for the girls to decorate. Buying premade would be so much easier but those typical ones they have with the themes I just don't like to send out to family. What do you do?

We did both this year. We bought the store ones like usual, but also made the cutest little candy airplanes to go along with them. My son is 6 and he loved it. I can't wait to see the kids reactions later this week. Here's what the airplace looked like: http://www.associatedcontent.com/image/47607/index.html?cat=24. Although we used a small pack of gum rather than just 1 stick. Otherwise the rubberband will bend the stick.
