twitter moms: the influential moms network

Do you network with other bloggers?

  • Rating: 5 after 4 votes
Hi :)
I recently networked with some other bloggers and it was a wonderful experience and added traffic to my blog! Just imagine if every day you commented on only 3-5 blogs and then connected with the other blogger how much traffic it would bring to your site!
I think it would be a lot faster to grow your readership. Any thoughts? I am also doing this on my social network http://Ruthietalk.ning.com/

I do network with other bloggers. I create websites and blogs for them, I also make banners and blinkies. I do what I can to help where I can when I can.

I have never tried to network. And mostly just friends read my blog (although its internet friends), I guess cause mine never has good advice, or tips or anything, its more of a sitcom or soap opera that you watch every day. So I dont know what kind of networking that I would even need to do.

I do have 9 followers, and 2 of them are people I have never 'met'. but I think that as far as real life family and friends, they dont follow me, or even read my blog.

I would like more readers, but, there is nothing I can do for anyone that I can think of. Like I said, mine is just a funny or OMG you poor thing type blog. LOL

I read all your comments, this is indeed a challenge. marketing takes more time than doing the actual work. i am relatively a new blogger, and i find it really hard to get people to subscribe to my blog even thought i know i have regular readers, they just check my blog every so often. i am not sure why this is happening.
same with comments, i get so many emails with peoples comments but no hardly anyone will comment under the post...

You would be amazed - which I am sure you are already - to know how many people WILL email you rather than actually post a comment. Not sure yet what the hangup is with actually commenting, but at least they are taking the time to email you....

i guess it all takes time and patience.

comments and suggestions are mostly welcome

I read blogs for sometimes hours a day.

Because I love to comment & add any info I can. I am also into bookmarking when I find a good post.

I have been slowly going through the list of ladies here & trying to visit their blogs & if I can (some I just have nothing to say) leave a comment. BUT, many of the free blogs do not allow you to post comments unless you are a member. I just avoid those. I am not joining blogger just to leave a comment. So if you want comments you need to make sure you have the NAME & URL option open.

My biggest problem was always finding relevant post in relation to my interest. That is why we just set up our blog Co-Op. It took me looking at many blog communities before i decided how I wanted it set up. We also know that people do not want to waste their time sorting through a blog to find what they are looking for so we have members list a Mini Post that tells a little about each article. We also have it divided by topic.

We know that some of us 'Not Famous' bloggers have great post but just do not have the traffic to really get them noticed. We also want good traffic that want to read our info. Blogging is now a team effort. We set very specific rules up so, using the Blog Co-Op is not just a one way street. It is to help each other.

Being as many sites are filled with so many 'splogs' we took precautions to delete that factor. Splogs drive me CRAZY!

I do try to visit new blogs from the people at TwitterMoms when I can.

I agree that networking with other bloggers is a good way to get some traffic to your blog or website. I am a WAHM who likes to blog, create custom graphics, and network with others while sharing ideas. I think that if one woman can make a team of women, then it is possible for everyone to be successful. I don't know about everyone else but, being a WAHM is hard and I started blogging online to make extra money. Getting paid to blog was a cool thing but, took a lot of effort and work. i think by helping each other and commenting on each others blogs or posts , we can bring others to our friendly blogger groups. :)
I could use a few friends here on twittermoms because I am new here.

When I go to the link you posted to see your blog, it gives an error message saying your blog does not exist.

There is a lot of gluten free networking on twitter and facebook. I love reading other blogs, commenting, and getting helpful tweets from other bloggers.
