This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Just wondering how many people are doing this. I'm not very good at texting to begin with and couldn't imagine doing it while I'm driving.

I can't stand people texting while driving, or eating or putting on make up (really, you can't take 30 seconds when you ARRIVE?)
I think people take driving for granted.
The only thing I do with my cell phone while I'm driving is use my GPS....I'm still new around here, and haven't figured out how to get around yet! Well, I talk on it too, but only when someone calls me which is very rare!
Hell no! I try to avoid my cell phone all together while driving. I have been cut off the road, and look over at the driver that has done it and they are on their cell phones! This really erks me, especially when it is a truck driver!
My husband does and it is so dangerous. Lucky for me I am extremely slow texter so relying on my tweetdeck to update my Twitter profile at @kiss_butterfly
Robin--
I agree with you. I am so uncoordinated when it comes to texting--I can't imagine doing it while driving!
Do you see teenagers texting while driving? My teenagers will be driving soon--and of course they text all the time. This creates a whole new level of concern for mom and a topic of discussion(s) with them!
I put a lock on my phone (after my 2 year old tweeted fi0afejaf to Ashton Kutcher) so that is a great deterant for not using the phone when Im driving at all. I know of people who do though and it's so much more distracting than just talking on the phone. I'm glad their making it a no-no!
Oh, boy. Yup, this one gets me hot, too. It's another example of the instant gratification times we live in. Very few people are actually skilled at talking on their cell and driving safely, but absolutely no one can text and drive and consider themselves good drivers.
Absolutely not, I don't even talk on the phone while driving....with carting around all of my kids, I could use less distractions, and texting while driving is not a very intelligent decision to make, no matter what the situation could be.
