Is it overkill to post these here, as well as in the photos thread? Nah, it's probably okay...

In other RPattz news, I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- I am worried for him. Seeing that footage of the mall event in Dallas freaked me out. I can't imagine even being there, never mind being the person that all the screaming was directed at. This is what young girls were doing when they first saw The Beatles -- it's that crazy. How in the world do you begin to cope with that? Just a rhetorical question, I know, but I thought I'd add it anyway.

I started watching How To Be...I'm hoping to finish tonight. I'm really impressed.

You know, I think he's got a really good perspective on all things Hollywood. At least in interviews he does. It will be interesting to see what he decides to do with his future. He seems to know he's just a guy, you know. Daniel Radcliffe has managed to keep it all together though he hasn't quite gotten the Beatlesesque reception Rob has.

Julie mentioned being worried for Rob (after seeing the Dallas mall event footage) and I am too, not just for him but for his work. I'm concerned that his other projects, like How to Be and Little Ashes, will be overshadowed by Twilight. I am a huge Twilight fan, but I'm an even bigger Rob fan, I admire him more for his other work, his less mainstream and more off the beaten path stuff. Hopefully Twilight will open doors for Rob and allow him to do the indie stuff he really likes to do and do big movies too.

If anyone is interested in seeing google video of the two BBC TV films Rob was in let me know and I'll post the link. I think Tonya has watched one of them, The Bad Mother's Handbook, maybe she'll weigh in on Rob's performance.
