5 after 2 votes I love Twitter and it's great to use when you understand how it works. I have written a very good blog post on understanding Twitter TWION Being A Twitter Open Networker on My No Tall Poppies blog. It's being turned into a Twitter Book soon.
I am uncomfortable with Facebook, because if I allow anyone to become a friend or even reply to an invitation declining, all the information of my friends is open to people that they might not know or want to approach them. So, I limit Facebook strictly to my own family and hope like hell that their friends think I am a boring old granny.
Also torn. I love twitter because it is quick and it is easy to get a large following quickly, however your comments have a shelf life of max 10 mins. Facebook I feel gives more options around a lasting connection and deeper communication. Do like being forced into abbreviated statements. I have linked twitter to facebook to get the benefit of both. However I am trying to sever the link to get a bit more control - but can't remember how I set it up. If anyone knows, please help me!
