"It was sort of sweet actually - I mean, I know she's an actress and all that, so she can deliver a line - but she said that she might be as famous as can be - but also... that she was just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
William in 1999 Knotting Hill saying what Anna had said to him, just as he realizes he has made the wrong decision.

"It can't rain all the time....." from The Crow. This is one of my all-time favorite movies ever!! The movie is so dark that this one ray of light really spoke to me. It says to me that even though times can really be dark and grim at times, that eventually there will be days that are brighter. I ljust really love this movie so much!!

In Steel Magnolias, from Shelby (Julia Roberts):
"I'd rather have thirty minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special."
In Bridget Jones's Diary, from Bridget (Renee Zellweger):
"It is a truth universally acknowledged that when one part of your life starts going okay, another falls spectacularly to pieces."
And several from Cold Mountain:
from Ruby (Renee Z): "They call this war a cloud over the land. But they made the weather and then they stand in the rain and say 'Sh*t, it's raining!'"

I love it when Ryan Gosling (Noah) in "The Notebook" ask's Rachel (Allie).............."What do you Want?" "What, What do you Want?"
a scene where she is torn between 2 loves, her first and current, where 1 love she can be one person and the other where her parents wish her to be with.
Very moving scene!!!!

Oh, I agree "Cold Mountain" is a good one too. I love it when Renee Z. say's that about the rain. She's a "Great" actress in that movie. They all are!

You captured this part perfectly, this was the exact part in the movie I was thinking. I "LOVE" it!

Gosh I have so many! I love movies too! It's hard to think of just one...lol. Star Wars: "Luke, I am your father". Actually Darth Vader doesn't say it exactly like that, but it's been mis-quoted by just about everyone this way. He simply says, "I'm your father." But it's still one of my faves and gets repeated often!
