I see and hear it all the times: Moms beating themselves for being out of shape and longing to get back the bodies they had before pregnancy and motherhood happened.
My friend and client, Vianesa Vargas of The Take Care Project, is committed to helping women take care of themselves and also to reframing moms' ideas of what a post-baby body should look like. Vianesa, a fitness, nutrition and wellness coach and a former personal trainer, She's just published a fitness and nutrition journal for moms -- and that's the point of this posting.
Vianesa is looking for mom bloggers to review and use the journal and also host giveaways on their sites. Prizes will include journals and coaching sessions (by phone) with Vianesa.
If you're a mom -- be it a new mom or a seasoned one -- who feels like you never have time for yourself, Vianesa Vargas and the Take Care Project may be able to help you.
While plenty of Web sites offer parenting advice and tips for caring for children, Vargas's The Take Care Project puts puts moms first: The Take Care Project (
www.takecareproject.com) empowers mothers to take care of themselves first and to help them understand that only through a healthier, happier self can they successfully take on life's balancing act.
Moms who want to live healthy, happy lives, must focus on the five spokes of total health: rest, health, fitness, fun, and spirit. Vargas gives women permission to take care of themselves first, by showing them how doing so can help them become better mothers, wives and professionals.
If you're interested in trying out the journal and/or hosting a giveaway on your site, please post your contact information here, and I'll follow up within the week.
Thanks and take care,
Amy
