French’s and TwitterMoms 140-character Twitter Recipe Contest

French’s Foods and TwitterMoms have teamed up to find out who’s got the best quick-and-easy 140-character recipes! From October 27-31st, share your favorite original recipes on your Twitter page, in 140 characters or less, including the #frenchs hashtag. Your recipes will then be posted on www.frenchs140recipes.com for all to see. The first 50 moms to enter the contest (and meet all the rules) will win a $20 gift card to the supermarket of their choice.

We also have a widget for you to install on your blogs to share all the TwitterMoms recipes with our community! Get widget here

Here’s how it works:
To participate, simply enter one of your favorite original recipes in the French’s Cook-Off 2009. Then, tweet your favorite original recipe in 140 characters or less on your Twitter page, and include the #frenchs hashtag. Also you must include the contest widget (see below) on your blog site. Your recipes will be collected at frenchs140recipes.com, and the first 50 TwitterMoms to enter the contest (and follow the rules below) will win a $20 gift certificate to the supermarket of your choice! That’s it! All 140-character Twitter Recipe Contest winners will be contacted on or around November 9th!

Here are the requirements for recipes entered into the 140-character Twitter Recipe Contest:

Contest Rules:

· recipe must be posted on your Twitter page in 140 characters or less
· you must include the #frenchs hashtag in your tweeted recipe
· you must post the contest widget on your blog site
· you must return to this page and leave a link to your tweet and blog with the widget
· recipe must be original, unpublished, and created by you
· recipe must include at least one French's product
· include no more than 8 ingredients in the recipe (with the exception of salt, pepper and water)
· recipe must be prepared and ready to serve in no more than 1 hour

All submissions must be entered by 11:59pm (PST) on October 31, 2009.

Prizes:

-- The first 50 to enter the contest will win a $20 gift card to their local supermarket (as long as they offer gift cards, of course!).

This contest runs in conjunction with the French's Cook-Off 2009

Cook-Off 2009 Official Rules
French’s Cook-Off 2009 Recipe Contest: No purchase necessary to enter or win. Contest open to legal US residents at least 18 years of age as of June 1, 2009. Contest runs from June 20 - October 31, 2009. Void where prohibited. Go to http://www.frenchsfoods.com for entry details and official rules.

4. Cheesy toast with zing is an original and I also entered it for the Cook off contest. Was informed I would be contacted in 3 days with the approval

5. Includes French's Cheddar Fried Onions

6. Includes 6 ingredients- French's Cheddar Fried Onions, Cheddar Cheese slice, whole grain bread, onions, tomatoes and chillis (optional)

7. Takes 10 mins for prep and 10-15 mins to bake
