Furniture - Do you own this longer than cars or houses?

Hi - I work for Lazboy here in Syracuse area new York...I noticed that most people own their furniture longer than their houses or cars...and yet invest the cheapest they can here...they worry about $100 here or there and when they really should worry is about houses or cars ? :)
Just some good info I wanted to share...my point is to help women...(now you have some good reason to tell your husband why you need good new furniture hee..hee ) anyway...what do you keep the longest...cars, furniture, or the place you live ?
