I just laughed when I saw it. I really don't think he is doing it in seriousness. I think he is being sarcastic and facetious.

I totally agree. When hubby and I saw it we just laughed because it wouldn't be unlike Larry Flint to make a point in such a way. I for one am glad that he is someone of a certain celebrity that is willing to say something publicly to make people think about how ridiculous all of these bailouts really are. I honestly don't think that he was serious at all about wanting the government to bail out the porn industry. I just think that he was trying to get everyone to think about what our government is doing bailing out all of these huge corporations that made tons of money for so many years and now want a hand out from a country who is experiencing our unemployment rate continue to increase and our financial future keeps getting bleaker. Larry Flint has been an advocate before and I just think this is his latest attempt at being an advocate and I for one commend him for making people think about how ridiculous these bailouts really are.
