I met mine through a blind date my brother Harry arranged. He had been saying for
awhile to me...that's the guy for you.
We went roller skating and my husband couldn't skate!

I actually was talked into joining Match.com with three other girls. After debating the cons (not too many pros in my opinion at the time) I joined and thought to myself that at least I get a few free dinnersout of it...lol. Then, about 6 months, the fun wore off. I met a few nice guys, but no one gave me butterflies or even made me want to go to "first base," let alone another date. So I decided to end it, even though everyone else was still on...but I was going to wait until the end of the month, when the subscription was up. Then a guy "winked" at me...we began emailing one another, and I was intrigued. So intrigued, I actually gave him my number (which I didn't with the other guys). I almost cancelled our first date, but he left me a message with his Irish Brogue (sp?) and I couldn't cancel. We set up a time and location to meet (even though he insisted on picking me up, I insisted that he didn't...I didn't want to put myself in any sicky situations). We met at a restaurant in New York City, and we spent all evening talking and after dinner we walked all over the city, chatting. I didn't get home until 8am the next day. It was the best first date I ever had in my life. And all we did was chat! After that, there was no going back...lol! We were married 3 years later. Now we are celebrating our two year anniversary this March and it is an interesting relationship! LOL I love my hubby!

My husband and I started dating when we were freshmen in high school. And the rest is history! :)
Dated 1990-1997
Married 1997-now

3 wonderful kids and nearly 19 years after we first connected, we both turn 34 this year and have spent more of our lives "together" than apart. I still get goosebumps when I think about that!

I'll never forget it - an unusually warm late-winter evening, and I was sitting on the shared deck of my apartment. A car pulled in to the lot and this guy got out and came up. His name was James and he was a friend of my neighbor, who wasn't home. I invited him to pull up a chair and wait, and we had great conversation until my neighbor came home. After that, I would see James visiting the neighbor every so often, but never pursued him, thinking he wasn't interested. Then, a few months later, he showed up at MY door! And again the next evening, and the next... and we were married a year later. :)

I met my husband while participating in a very popular activity... cruising!!! We were both out with friends, driving up and down the local hot cruising zone, when his friend & my friend decided to pull over to chat!! So the four of us girls starting talking with the four guys. He asked me for my phone number and called me the next day. We went out to a movie that night and have been together ever since... 19 years & two children later! People always laugh when we tell them how we met and they can't believe we've been together so long. We met when we were 18 years old!

We met at the campus bookstore. He had been the TA for one of my courses in the past and told me that I didn't really need the book for that class (it was well over $100 as all of my books were). Even though I didn't want to date anyone that semester I just couldn't help myself when I met him, I was totally in love with him at first sight (I know it sounds corny). I kept my eyes open for him all around campus after that for him and after a few weeks I ran into him, he turned out to be my TA for the course he said I didn't need the text book for. About a month later we started dating (with the instructor's blessing) and have been together for almost 8 years now (and married for over 3 1/2 years). We are both still friends with the instructor too. And by the way I ended up needing the text book for the class.

On the job of course. Most everyone in the television industry hooks up that way. Thankfully, our relationship has lasted since 1991.

I met my husband in a bar. I went to a bar I rarely went to with a friend I usually didn't go out with. When he walked in I thought to myself "Now that's a good looking guy." Turns out he and his friend knew my friend and we all started talking. The rest is history.

I met my husband in high school our freshman year. He made the first move at lunch one day by coming over and talking to me. I kind of wasn't too interested since he did have a reputation for dating one girl after the other. I politely let it be known to him that I wasn't into him and than he stalked me on my way to my locker everyday for a week until I finally agreed to go on a date with him and the rest is history :-)

I met my husband at a club down south and two months later we got married. We have been married now for 8 1/2 years. It's been hard and we both wish we would of got to know each other better and maybe we would of not gone through some really hard times.
