I met mine in University. We were studying in the same faculty. He was my senior.
He been married for 8 yrs after 4yrs of long distance courtship.

I met my husband when I was 12. We both were in an organization called Civil Air Patrol and he was the first time I ever noticed a "boy." He lived in another town in OR but we kept in touch and saw each other at events and when he came to Portland over the next two years (shh...he is 5 yrs older than I). Then in 1985 when I was 14 my father moved us to another town before he died of cancer and I lost track of him. Over the years I thought about him often. While in college at 26, I was doing a search trying to find my uncle, who had the same first name. After having no luck I "Googled" my husband's name and the first webpage I came to I just knew it was him. I sent him an "anonymous" email but with enough information in it that if it was the right man, he would instantly know who I was. The next day the phone rang! It was him! A month later on Jan 10, 1998 we had our first date. 3 years later on the same day our son was born. And we're still married...talk about first "loves." We've been together for 9 1/2yrs now, married 7, but apart of each others lives for almost 15 yrs now.

i met my husband at a singles meet up for orthodox Jewish people my husband was sitting across the room from me looking at me another guy was trying to get my attention so when i saw my husband looking at me i got up and sat next to him they started a new game you had to have someone else number in your cell phone so i turned to him and said quick give me your cell phone number and that is how it all started

I was doing my M.A at NYU and my fella was doing his M.B.A. I was managing a graduate residence hall and he was one of the students! He always says that his "Den Mother" took advantage of him!

I met my husband when I came to the U.S. with some friends from Australia to stay in an Ashram. He was helping in the kitchen and so was I. Been married 28 years this March 2009. 4 great kids.

I met my husband on the net. I actually didn't like him at first but over time and with persuasion he won me over and we have been together for almost four years and married for one year.

At my workplace, in the office....and we HATED each other....I mean I could barely stand to answer a question for him (he was the new boy, I had been there awhile). I was ALSO near the end of my divorce from my first husband who also worked there, but in the shop! Yes, as a Gemini my life is ALWAYS this exciting....LOL
Any ways, months later I was at a party at his house, it was snowing and he walked me out, we kissed by my car, underneath a street light with the snow falling and I thought to myself "oh no you didnt.....you did NOT like that kiss"....but alas, I did and this June will be our 16th year wedding anniversary! Who says opposites don't attract!!!!!

I met mine through a friend. We had been in the same circle for years and he even tried to hit on me a couple times and I turned him down. Well, it's his favorite story. He says he walked up to me at a party and asked me some silly question and I answered then said...I'm going to get a drink...and left. Geez. I was mean! But about 1 year later we started dating and here we are 7 years later, married with a son!

My brother came over to my house to use my hot tub with some friends of his - one of the friends I met ended up being my husband - and it was love at first sight. I couldn't peel the grin off my face when I first laid eyes on him if I tried!
