I met mine through a blind date my brother Harry arranged. He had been saying for
awhile to me...that's the guy for you.
We went roller skating and my husband couldn't skate!
My husband and I met on a ski trip in Park City, UT. I was working for an investment manager in Cincinnati, he for a brokerage firm in Milwaukee.
We had both been clients of a brokerage firm in Chicago, who had invited us on this trip. I was just going for a weekend of skiing. There were a couple of hundred people at this event and we were part of the same small group.
He was a perfect gentleman and we skied a lot together that weekend. The morning I was to leave, he met me for coffee in the lobby and asked if he could have my phone #.
He moved to Cincinnati about 6 months later and the next year were were married. We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary this past September.
On the highway..We exchanged notes from our cars for an hour and half...but never stopped. Later that night we exchanged emails, then when my computer broke down , we talked on the phone and set a date to see each other and we've been together ever since...We've got 3 kids between each other and we are expecting our first together in July! :D Life is good.
Twelve years ago on AOL Love Match, before there were photos to share... I had a posting and he replied with a very funny email... we talked on the phone, then we met for lunch, and have been together ever since... we finally got married in May 2007.

I posted an online personal with very specific criteria. I was fed up with the guys I had been dating. The first time we talked on the phone we had an 8 hour long conversation. The next day it was 7 hours. We met in person 2 days later and by then we knew we wanted to be with each other. We were engaged after 9 months of dating and will be married 7 years this May! I thank God for him all the time :)
I met mine in church, although at the time I was sort of dating another guy, of course I wasn't officially taken yet. But, 6 months later we were married. Not a shotgun wedding either, lol . . our first born became our first wedding anniversary gift, we got out of the hospital the day of our anniversary. We'll be married 25 years this March.
I met my husband in 1988. He was a senior in high school and I was a junior. He followed me home from a movie theater and promised me he could remember my phone number (he had nothing to write it down on). The next day he called and we have been together ever since. High school Sweethearts - 21 years together this year!
I met mine in church. He was the youth pastor and I was lead singer in the band. We worked with the youth together for quite some time and became close friends. We were friends for 3 1/2 years who decided to get married, no dating, just courtship. We've been good friends ever since.
