How did you meet your husband?

I met mine through a blind date my brother Harry arranged. He had been saying for
awhile to me...that's the guy for you.
We went roller skating and my husband couldn't skate!

I met my husband in a church parking lot. He was dropping his brother off who was dating a friend of mine. My friend called me up one day and told me ' please call ____-he wont let me talk to his brother until you call him lol.So I did and we have been together ever since, we have been married for 11 years now. We have to tell our daughter this story every so often, I took her over to the church to see it. Which reminds me I need to go and take a picture of it.

I met my husband at college. I was sitting down one day and all of a sudden he came up to me and started talking to me.

I was working the front counter (which actually served as a register, customer service, employee questions, etc) at a retail store (you have to remember that this was over 20 years ago). I saw him come in the store and was WOW'd. When I saw him approaching the front of the store to check out, I put the other cashiers to work so I was the only register open. He wrote a check so I was able to get his name and phone number (which I ended up not needing) as we connected at a party a couple of months later through mutual friends. The rest as they say is history...we were engaged 3 months later and married 6 months after that...we are celebrating 25 years together this year (in November).

Hi,

I am a reporter for Marie Claire Magazine. We are doing a story about married couples that met at work and are still happily married. I found some information regarding this subject on the blog and would love to get some information from you. First off, are you interested? Your story could be included in the article, which would be a cool little experience. If you are, I have a couple of questions:

-What are you and your husband’s ages?
-What kind of company did you work for when you met? (You don’t have to be specific, just general idea.)
-Do you or your husband still work there?
-Can you send me a picture?
-Do you have any friends who met at work and are still together?

I can be contacted at lacymorris@hearst.com. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks so much!

Take care,

At my workplace, in the office....and we HATED each other....I mean I could barely stand to answer a question for him (he was the new boy, I had been there awhile). I was ALSO near the end of my divorce from my first husband who also worked there, but in the shop! Yes, as a Gemini my life is ALWAYS this exciting....LOL
Any ways, months later I was at a party at his house, it was snowing and he walked me out, we kissed by my car, underneath a street light with the snow falling and I thought to myself "oh no you didnt.....you did NOT like that kiss"....but alas, I did and this June will be our 16th year wedding anniversary! Who says opposites don't attract!!!!!

On the job of course. Most everyone in the television industry hooks up that way. Thankfully, our relationship has lasted since 1991.

Mike and I met at work. We really only knew of each other for a few years cause he was married. During his divorce some of my other girlfriends/coworkers knew what was going on with him and invited him to join us. For months we were just friends. It's kind of funny cause there were about 10 of us single gals and Mike. He was sort of like our big brother mascot. It took us both several months of talking and hanging out as just friends for us to figure out we might like to go out. (Actually it was me - I saw him as a coworker and a friend and it took me a while to figure out I 'like-liked' him.) Once we did though. that was it. We've been together as a couple since the spring of 1984, and every day is the best to just be hanging out with my best friend.

I found my husband on MySpace. He had posted about how he hated Valentine's Day, and I responded that I did too. We started talking, and would up spending it together. Been married for almost 2 years, this November.
