I met mine through a blind date my brother Harry arranged. He had been saying for
awhile to me...that's the guy for you.
We went roller skating and my husband couldn't skate!
In a bar. I know it sounds bad but its really romantic actually. I was putting myself through college working as a cocktail waitress and he would come in around midnight every night to have a cup of coffee. I thought that was strange. After about three months I finally sat with him one of those evenings and found out he worked graveyard, hence his morning cup of coffee at midnight. Three days later we were engaged, four more days he moved in with me, and two months after that we were married. Going on twenty two years now with four children! I would have to say a bar is a great place to meet a guy!!! LOL
I met my husband online. There's a telnet talker that I've been hanging out on since college. He logged on one day and thought I was his (rather insane) on-again-off-again girlfriend. (We had similar usernames.) After talking for awhile, we found out that we didn't live all that far away from each other. Wedesday (Oct 21) will be our 8th anniversary ^_^

I met my husband while singing karaoke. I went with my best friend at the time to meet up with her boss....who brought her boyfriend...who brought his best friend....who is now my husband. Funny thing was we were following each other around our whole lives. Our parents were in high school together. Our grandmothers went to the same church, and we were in the same Sunday school classes. Despite moving many times as kids we've managed to live within a block of each other several times. We had mutual friends even-but we never met each other (that we can recall)....it took that night at karaoke for us to meet and fall instantly in love. We celebrate 7 years on November 7th.
I met mine when a friend wanted to check out a restaurant where another one of her friends was starting work. We walked in and he was standing there singing karaoke LOL! Loved his voice and was gonna request a song. When I asked him, he did not know the song well enough to sing but....he asked me out!! That was way better than the song! lol We have been together ever since! Married 3 1/2 years now.
I met my husband through my best friend who was dating him at the time.We didn't date for a year, and then he asked me out and we were married within a year.
Marsha and I through interviewing other later in life women formed a website for women to share their experiences in all areas of getting married at this time.
We would love to hear from you at www.marryinglaterinlife.com.
