How much do you pay for child care?

I pay $240 for 3 half days for my 5 year old who is in a 4 yr old program. I think that's a decent price.

My 2yo is about 1400/mo so he was a little more at 15mo.

OMG!!! I live in michigan and I babysit a 2yr old and a 3yr old 30hrs per week for $75, I'm getting ripped off.LOL

OH MY GOODNESS...I HEARD CHILD CARE WAS REALLY EXSPENSIVE IN DIFFERENT STATES AND LOOKING AT THIS POST I HAVE LEARNED IT IS! WOW I AM IN OKLAHOMA AND I HAVE BEEN A OWNER / DIRECTOR OF AN IN HOME DAY CARE / PRESCHOOL PROGRAM AND THESE ARE MY RATES: 1 - 2 YEARS $117.00

2 - 4 110.00

4 - 6 105.00

6 - 12 100.00 a week.
Go to your Department of Human Services and ask them to mail you a Licensing book and they too will give you some ideas along what it will take to get Licensed.
Call around to some of the other Facilities and In Home Day Cares off of Department of Human Servies ( Locator ) section and just ask the providers what they are charging and they will alot of the time let you knowl.
