If the Rapture happened next month who in your family would be possibly left behind?

I find this topic very interesting because it varies in some beliefs. No one ever things it's going to happen in their lifetime. But, what if it did? What if Jesus didn't rapture you? What if he did rapture you and not your husband? Men challenge God and faith all the time. What are your feelings are us moms doing all we can?

I would be more concerned about my sister and her son. They are just walking in a way I have been, and I know that the road doesn't lead to happiness.
I pray that before Our Lord comes back..She and my nephew see the light...

My parents, my sister and her family, my sister-in-law and her family. I hate it but we can't force our family members to repent. My sister turned her back on God 13 yrs ago and joined a cult, and married a local cult leader. She finally got out 3 yrs ago and walked away from he marriage and the cult. She is no married to another man who comes from a strong Christian family but they are far from God. My SIL was raised in a strong Christian home went to Christian school about 12 years ago she turned her back on God and moved far away from the family. Recently she has been realizing the error of her ways and taking baby steps back towards he Savior.
John 14:6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Cindy, It is natural for children to challenge their parents. I've hear so many people over the years that grew up in Christian families that one children always challenges their faith. I'm so glad to hear that your sister is coming home to Jesus. She may be taking baby steps, but it's better than to be lost forever. Let your sister know that she has another sister praying for her healing of her pass misguidance from mankind and that everything will be ok with just her one single prayer to Jesus. Jesus know us all, he knew that she would challenge her faith and believe in him, but he is quieting awaiting her return home to him. Each day is a gift with no guarantees for tomorrow. Our life on this Earth is just a blink of our eternity. Your Sister in Christ with Love, Tammy.

Carolyn, how do you see your sister and her son walking away? Share with us a little more and maybe we can with you some guidance to lead your sister back home to Christ. It's natural for people to challenge God and Faith, but to be lost forever is heart braking to loved ones. You have my prayers for them.

Bonnie, love and prayer is very strong. Why do you feel these loved ones will be left behind? There is always HOPE if we can discover the deep reasons of them straying away. Sometimes preaching leaves out listening. Ask simple questions with love and concern and keep your ears open for little messages they may be sending without realizing it.

There're some relatives that concern me but who I am to say God won't rapture them? Maybe those who I'm concerned about are closer to Him than myself.

Tammy,
I have often asked myself this very question. As a Christian Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, the list goes on. When I was a teenager I was constantly bothered by this would spend many nights heart sick that my family here on earth wouldn't be with me afterwards also. We had multiple sermons on if you dont believe than you wont be saved. As I get older I keep thinking that everyone has their own relationship with God that may not always come across to other people. I don't like to believe that no one in my family has Never said a quick prayer, something like, Dear Jesus please let me get through this, or God please make me feel better, Please be with my family while they are traveling, Thank God that car didn't hit me, etc....... With that in mind I think that maybe just that little ounce of faith will be enough to get them saved also.

Santana, you are so precious to me and your family. I know that everyone thinks that if they are a good person or if they've pray to God as a father or friend that they consider themselves a Christian.

The Bible states that God says in order to go to Heaven, you must be born again. In John 3:7, Jesus said "Ye must be born again." In the Bible God gives us the plan of how to be born again which means to be saved. His plan is simple! Anyone can be saved today.

This is How.
First, you or loved ones must realize that they are a sinner. Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death. Romans 6:23 "For the wages [payment] of sin is death" (This includes eternal separation from God in Hell.)

However, God loved you so much He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place. "2 Corinthians 5:21" "... He hath made Him [Jesus, Who knew no sin} to be sin for us ... that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him" Jesus loved us so much he had to shed His blood and die for our pardon.

"God ... now commandeth all men everywhere to repent" "Act 17:30" This repentance is a change of mind that agrees with God that one is a sinner, and also agrees that what Jesus did for us on the cross.

Santana, I was born a sinner. This became apparent to me during my teenage years. The burden of my sins weighed heavily on my heart until the day that my cousin loved me so she took it as her responsibility to show me the way to God. Well she never gave in or up on me and the church showed me that every one has burdens to bare. My only choice was repentance and rebirth with one single prayer. Then to share my story with others and help them come to Christ by rebirth. The pastor said child this is your sole message in life to spread the word and help others except Jesus as their savior. To remember that Jesus was there with me in every act of life that I performed. It's a simple admittance that I was born a sinner, but God gave Jesus to me as a pardon to have everlasting life. Faith is always a personal decision, but God made it a simple decision for mankind to have everlasting life. Everyone gambles that there will always be a tomorrow that time is on their side.

I don't want to add any worries on you, but this is the only prayer that counts, says Luke 18:13, the sinner prayed: "God be merciful to me a sinner." Just pray:

"Oh, God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died on the Cross. I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me. I now receive Him as my Savior. I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace. Amen."

Your studying to be a Nurse and at sometime in the life of your career, I hope that you share this simple prayer to the weak and ill who may be facing death. With all my love, Tammy Dantzler
