The whole concept is so mind boggling that I had to take a moment to think.

I don't have a specific schedule, but this is a bit of what I'd do:

Ride my exercise bike while watching a movie (preferably loud and rated R). Take a nap. Clean the living room (and throw out as much stuff that I could) If it was summer, I'd work outside in the garden. In the winter, watch a movie and knit or crochet. Read a book tucked in bed with Forensic Files on the TV. Talk to the dog (because she'd be snuggled in the bed next to me, lol) And of course, take a long bath with lots of suds.

I've had this opportunity before I rented a nice hotel room and ordered a fruit, cracker tray and a bottle of champagne! I took a warm hot bubble bath and chilled out with the tv. It was awesome! I slept so well.

I have the opportunity to do this every six weeks or so. If I am on business travel, I will extend the trip a day. If I can't get a away, I will find a local hotel resort offering a great hotel special (and these days - there are PLENTY!) I will spend the night at the hotel, going to the spa -being pampered. I order overpriced room service, watch movies and just enjoy the luxury of someone else cleaning, cooking and tending to me. It's a nice way to treat myself!

I would spend the day & night in New York City, my old home with my best gal pal, Leah, go to museums, have a fabulous dinner and enjoy my old stompin' grounds in the city that I know and love & miss so much!!!

The perfect 24-hours would start with sleeping late, followed by a glorious breakfast with the Sunday New York Times( which I will read every word of), exercise - maybe a swim in the ocean, a sauna, a leisurely lunch with my girlfriends at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, I'll find a $100 bill on the sidewalk outside the restaurant and then buy a pair of jeans that make me look downright emaciated and a pair of shoes that make me look ten years younger (okay, they were on sale!) then I will drink a cup of tea glass of wine by a fire with a good book, then catch a great movie, have dinner with friends, walk through the narrow streets of a new city to see some live music and be in bed (with fresh sheets) by 10pm.
Hmmmm....I might need a few extra hours.
