Need your help: What things do your neighbors do that really get on your last nerves

I am planning to write a blog on the things that neighbors do that are NOT very neighborly (make neighbor upset) and doing an unscientific survey of the most popular ones (the DONT's).

This is for my newly launched website and community blog to help connect neighbors using practical ways, education and inspiration (http://www.toolzdo.com/community).

Here is what I have thus far from my own experience (if you have similar than what is already mentioned, mention them again as I am trying to come up with the top 5 or 10):
*Letting the dog unload right on my front lawn and not picking up after the dog
*Playing loud music after hours
*Littering specially on my property (mostly teenagers)

What about you? What are some of the things that your current neighbor or neighbor of old have done that really made your blood boil?

Permalink Reply by Jen on August 17, 2009 at 6:16pm: My neighbors have at least 15 dogs Beagles and Coon. They are constantly barking. I called animal control and was told they were allowed to have 3 dogs. Long story short word of mouth got back to them and now they are quietly hushing the dogs in fear that I will sign a complaint.

They have also rototilled at 6 a.m by our bedroom window (on a Sunday), blasted the marine police scanner & radio.

This behavior had gone on for 8 yrs. Karma bit them in the a** they are now separated and headed for divorce court, lol

Letting their children play in my garden.

When my family has a cook out or company over the neighbors "the ones you never see siting out in their yard" are sitting out in their yard watching everything we do. (and by the way: the reason for us not inviting them is due to their children playing in my herb and flower gardens and using my trash cans, and acting like I'm overreacting when I nicely ask them to stop)

We used to live in an old Victorian home that was made into to apartments we had the top apartment, the family below us would play music (Jimmy Hendrix) until 4 and 5am knowing the room they were playing the music in was under my sons bedroom and the music sounded like it was coming out of my sons room due to it being so loud, and they seem to only do it on school nights.

Use the whole drive way so we can't get passed them and have to park n the road.

Burrowing a cup of something EVERYDAY

Dog doing his bizz in my yard near our pool and noone pick it up EVER.

Dumping the ashes from their grill by my back deck.

Having her Barbie body taning in her back yard, ONLY when my boyfriend is here

My ex neighbors would decide that 6am is a great time on a Sat. morning to use a chain saw on their wood,or cut their grass at 5am; ▶ Reply to This

There reason was we dont use our garage our much, Im like so what still doesnt mean its ok.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Sophia on August 20, 2009 at 9:25am: My neighbors have a construction company and so they are always parking their F-350s monster trucks (I think they have 4) in front of our home. And every morning at 7am, they rev-the engines for about 5 minutes. They also have a few old, vintage cars that seemingly were built before they had mufflers that they take out every weekend. Sometimes, I feel like I live in the middle of a monster truck rally.; ▶ Reply to This

I'm not sure if they are even neighbors or friends of neighbors. A little speeding happens...even though it is still not safe. But going over what seems to be 45mph completely bugs me. It's not safe for the kids especially. My kids don't play in the street & I constantly drill into them that if your bike, ball, toy etc. were to roll in the street then just let it go. Mommy will get it. Toys can be replaced...not kids.
