ask me to watch their kids at the last minute.
My immediate neighbors are wonderful! I do get upset when people speed through our development though. I'm not sure if they are even neighbors or friends of neighbors. A little speeding happens...even though it is still not safe. But going over what seems to be 45mph completely bugs me. It's not safe for the kids especially. My kids don't play in the street & I constantly drill into them that if your bike, ball, toy etc. were to roll in the street then just let it go. Mommy will get it. Toys can be replaced...not kids.
Thank goodness it doesn't happen often.
I heard of someone whose neighbour 'stole' their babysitter. Esentially, while the babysitter was caring for her children, the neighbour came over and asked if she was willing to sit for them too. After that, the sitter was busy whenever she needed her, caring for the neighbour's children.
Okay I stated they ask me to watch kids at last minute. How about the following morning when you've woke at 5 am to get all your kids ready to watch said kid, you find out she decided even later that night to ask another neighbor. Oh and she didn't bother to tell you. ERRRR.

My neighbors complain when my kids are in our own yard - with their friends playing. They say they are making to much noise. Give me a break. Its the summertime and it is the middle of the day. Kids are suppose to have fun, but no, not with them, they complain constantly about the noise and ruckus going on. Heaven forbid kids have fun playing tag, hop scotch, basketball or running in the sprinkler. They use to sit out in their yard and yell about the noise - now they stay in their house and keep their shades pulled. I can't understand how someone would want to be so miserable. Life is just to short!
This may be unusual, but I once had a neighbor who used to move my plants off our shared balcony, and closer to my door. She felt I was "stealing" too much of the sun. Luckily I moved before things got too crazy - but I'll never forget that!
Our neighbors had the audacity to let there guest park his big suv in front of our garage and then get mad because I called the MP's on them ( I live on an Army post).
There reason was we dont use our garage our much, Im like so what still doesnt mean its ok.
Using my trash cans when theirs are full and not asking .
I have a meddling neighbor who looks through the trash the night before garbage pickup day to see what everyone is buying. I caught her recently and she ran back into her house; in a robe and with scarf her head. Ha! Get a life.
