Hello Ladies,

There's a lot of confusion surrounding twittering I see. One of the best things to do it start following others people you know/respect and observe how they interact with others. Following other BIGTIME women marketers like: @BareFoot_Exec @AliBrownLA and @BernadetteDoyle will give you an idea of how to tweet about your business by leading with value.

That way you won't be blocked and shunned like a spammer but pursued like a celebrity!

As far as what's worth reading, just Google "twitter training" and you'll get a screen full of How to Twitter eBooks and even course.

My best advice to to treat it like a party or happy hour. Chat about a mix of things and always focus on building relationships with other people who would co-promoters your messages and/or will benefit the most from knowing you.

If you have more specific questions please send me a message or comment on my page on in our Savvy Business Mom group here on twitter moms.

Malika
@BizSavvyMom on twitter... stop by and say hello!

I sell on etsy.com and that's how I got into Twitter - lots of other sellers use it. I love the social / business combo of it. It can be hilarious and informative all at the same time. But I remember the people who make it a good combo for both - and will buy from them in the future. That kind of networking is essential for small sellers on venues like etsy - the personal connection is even more important. Spammy sellers annoy me!

I joined twitter months ago and I still don't understand the tweet! I think I try what Malika advised. It sounds fun but still confusing.
