New to TwitterMoms....help me acclimate!

Hi TwitterMoms!

So I am new to TwitterMoms (and somewhat new to Twitter in general), but wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm a mom of 2, a therapist by profession, and a blogger by hobby, just blogging about how I am making this whole motherhood thing up as I go along!

Tell me just what makes TwitterMoms a network I can't live without. What are the benefits of being a part of it? And how exactly do you use it?

Thanks much....and feel free to visit my blog at:

Welcome to twitter moms, Tamara!

I use twitter moms in a variety of ways--sometimes I respond to threads or questions on the general twitter moms board or in groups that I've joined.

By visiting people's pages, I've found new blogs or twitter accounts to follow.

And one of the things I enjoy the most are the "RAMBO" alerts that arrive in my e-mail, describing special opportunities just for twitter moms.

Other people have found good friends on this network. Some like to write blog posts on different subjects. The beauty of twitter moms is that there's a lot here and you can use it as much or as little as you want to, while still being part of the community.

Hope you like it here!
