I started Weight Watchers again on the 1st (yes the 1st and not the 2nd LOL) of January.
I have been WW since 15 years and I know it works when I stick to the programm. The main thing is to turn the switch in the head and then it just works fine.
Weight Watchers is easy because you can eat anything you want you just get very conscious of WHAT and HOW MUCH you eat and you can do it a life-time.
I don't consider that I am on a diet. I'm really trying to change the way I eat. I have switched out my white bread for whole wheat bread and really trying to eat according to the food pyramid as well as trying to limit my sweet intake.

I'm not on a diet now unless you consider eating everything I want a diet :) I read it's healthier to eat well balanced meals before and after workouts. That seems to be working for me but then again I'm well within my healthy weight range and work out a lot! I cook almost every night and always stick to fresh produce and meats.
I have done Jenny Craig in the past. I found myself adding more cheese to their fettuccine Alfredo :) I didn't stay on it for long. Plus the long list of ingredients was a turn off.
More recently I tried the Isagenix cleanse. That helped me drop 2 inches from my waist and gave me lots of energy which was needed for Zumba class. I don't think I'd do it again but recommend it to those who need to drop fast. The cleanse was for 9 days.
I love Michael Thurmond’s Six Week Body Makeover (6WBMO). It’s not a diet but a lifestyle change that will lead to a healthy and fit body. The 6WBMO is a method of losing weight and reshaping the body in a relatively short period of time. This program is a customized process of learning your own reaction to particular foods, then combining them in your diet so that your unique metabolism burns more fat.
This program is teaching me how my body reacts to food and about my metabolism. I’m learning ways to lose and maintain my weight by eating more. No more starving myself! Yea – because I like food. Now I just eat the right ones!!
Michael Thurmond is a fitness expert and a member of the ‘Extreme Team’ on the Extreme Makeover television series.
I am not per say on a diet but a lifestyle change. I did the HCG diet and it did work lost 17 lbs on the 23 day plan. Although I probably gained 5 lbs back more, but what I did realize while I was on the 500 calorie plan is that I am a emotional eater, I did not eat out of hunger but out of mental hunger. And food is everywhere and it's needed for every feeling. Although I did lose some weight on the HCG diet I decided I really need help on the emotional eating to actually gain control of my weight issue.
I found this program online www.totellwellness.com? I am currently using their program to help me stop emotional eating & compulsive binging. So far, it's been working great.
Anyone else have any experience with them?
I really like that they have online videos that help you work through
all the exercises. It helps so you don't get discouraged. As though
you have someone there to help you through it. They also have personal
coaching options.
Oh my goodness I thought I was the only one I have tried www.totellwellness.com I love their program and find them very helpful. I have tried to do diets but have never follow through with any of them. I just started to pay attention to my feelings when I eat and I noticed that I overeat due to my emotions, whether I am stress or bored, or unhappy. In the totellwellness program they say when you are stressed your body craves sugar and carbs to try to increase your seratonin levels. (happy hormones) so if you are able to find other ways to cope with your stress this would be easier to resist eating those foods your not suppose to be eating. Anyway after starting this program I don't believe dieting is the way to go, just making right food choices and finding ways to stop emotional eating. Good luck you all
